CONCRETE DEMOLITION

Demolition of a concrete structure is understood as the set of disassembly or dismantling processes of the structure, in its entirety or part of it, by decision of the owner and as a consequence of the end of its service life.

With the demolition of the pavement, the aim is to reduce material to a size that makes it easy to handle and transport to a crushing plant, and to separate as far as possible the metallic elements it contains.

There are currently different equipment that can be used in the demolition of concrete pavements. Its selection depends on the circumstances of each type of concrete work, its resistance and integrity.
